Break the Cycle. Rewire Your Story.

Tools, stories, and spaces for healing attachment through a culturally rooted lens—created by and for changemakers, caregivers, and cycle-breakers

Welcome to the Attachment Style Makeover

A Culturally Responsive Path to Healing Your Relationships—Starting with the One You Have With Yourself.

Created by therapists Miranda Campbell, LCSW and Jessica Harris, LPC, the Attachment Style Makeover is more than a workbook—it’s a transformational journey. It blends attachment science with soul-deep healing practices rooted in the lived realities of BIPOC communities.

Breaking the Cycle, Reclaiming Our Story

This isn't just about you. It's about everyone who comes after you.

Attachment Style Makeover is for the cycle-breakers—for the mothers, aunties, big sisters, and caregivers rewriting the emotional script handed down through generations.

If you were never taught how to feel safe in love...
If “being strong” meant burying your needs…
If no one modeled what healthy connection looked like...

You're not failing. You're healing. And that healing ripples outward.

With each reflection, each boundary, each moment of softness—you’re showing the next generation what emotional safety looks like. What love can feel like. What’s possible when we stop surviving and start connecting.

This is the work. And it’s legacy work.

“I didn’t grow up with models for emotional safety—but she will.” -Miranda Campbell, LCSW

What Makes This Different?

Most attachment workbooks leave out the realities of cultural trauma, generational expectations, and emotional labor that BIPOC communities carry. This one doesn't.

We wrote this with your story in mind.

Because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s sacred. It’s layered. And you deserve tools that reflect your lived truth.

“I wanted us to have a healing tool that saw the full picture—culture, trauma, and all. We deserve that.”
— Jessica Harris, LPC

Discover what readers think about our workbook

I haven't been able to put this workbook down since I purchased it. It has resonated with my spirit from the introduction page. The authors are so vulnerable, authentic and ingenious in how they share their own stories. Every page further widens the door to more self exportation, self awareness and opportunity to grow emotionally. This workbook should be on the shelves of any Therapist who wants to gift their clients true insight into how to evolve in their relationships & for any individual yearning for understanding and tangible activities to enhance the relationships in their lives. This is seriously a 10 star workbook with so many gems to offer. I hope the authors write a series, I know they will be phenomenal!

Neeta

This is the book I didn’t know I needed. The authors have a rare gift for making deep, transformational healing feel accessible, practical, and most importantly possible. The insights on attachment styles go beyond theory; they’re a roadmap to understanding our patterns, breaking free from survival mode, and creating the secure connections we all deserve. What makes this book even more powerful is how it speaks to different cultural backgrounds and lived experiences, reminding us that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. If you’ve ever felt stuck in the same relationship cycles or wondered why you respond the way you do, this book is a must-read. It’s not just about self-awareness, it’s about stepping into a new way of being. Highly recommend!
